Kristi Wilder "Are You My Friend?" Endowed Scholarship/Fellowship Fund

Established in 2003, this scholarship/fellowship is awarded to juniors, seniors or graduate students majoring in special education who demonstrate financial need. Students must live in Nassau, Duval, Baker, Clay or St. Johns, Florida counties, with first preference given to those living in Nassau and second preference to Duval residents. The endowment was created in memory of Kristi Wilder, a young woman who survived longer than doctors expected, against all odds with physical and mental disabilities but with a warm and loving heart that knew no boundaries. She would ask everyone she met, “Are you my friend?”
